Lava from a volcano on the island of La Palma, Spain, has left several dogs stranded. Aerocamaras has obtained permits to try a unique rescue using drones to rescue the dogs. They plan on having a drone drop a net on each dog, and then whisk it to safety. A cargo drone with capabilities to carry 50 pounds per flight will be used. The complex rescue will require the dogs to be carried about 1,476 feet over lava.
